Respecting your privacy is of the utmost importance to us.  BC’s Best Mortgage (hereafter referred to as “BC’s Best) and its affiliate companies, Prairie’s Best Mortgage and Alberta’s Best Mortgage Inc., have a collective Privacy Policy.  This policy is disclosed in order that you may fully understand what information is collected from you, why it is collected, and ultimately, how it is used.

Information Collection & Use

In order to serve our clients, BC’s Best securely collects personal user information at various points in our web site best-bc-mortgages.com.  Once collected, BC’s Best becomes the owner of this information for its intended use only.

Application Forms

On-line applications require personal information such as your name, address, phone number, email and current employment information.  These are strictly necessary to assess your application.  Your social insurance number is not required to submit an application; however, you may include it in order to expedite the process.

When submitting an application, you are confirming that the information provided in the mortgage application is true and correct.  You are also confirming your understanding that this information is to be used to determine your credit eligibility and responsibility.  You are giving BC’s Best the authorization to obtain all information required for these express purposes from other sources, including credit bureaus, and that each source is authorized in turn to provide BC’s Best with such information.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Information that you provide in the mortgage application and any information that BC’s Best obtains from other sources relating to your credit history may be disclosed to potential mortgage lenders and insurers, financial intermediaries and any other parties with whom you may enter into a financial relationship, including organizations that provide technology or other supper services as necessary and in relation to your application.

Aggregate Information (non-personally identifiable)

Aggregate information that is compiled from our user database does not contain any personally identifiable information.  This information may be shared with our partners for analysis purposes to provide them with a demographic profile of users of our site.

Personally Identifiable Information

BC’s Best will only share personally identifiable information with third parties once you have provided express permission to do. Completion and submission of an online application constitutes this permission on your behalf.  Please see “Application Forms” under the Information Collection & Use section for additional details.

BC’s Best reserves the right to disclose any personally identifiable information when required by law and/or when disclosure of such information is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order or other legal process served on our Web site.

Log Files
